Dining out and not knowing what wine selection to make can be a very stressful decision. To help alleviate some of this pressure, several restaurants in the area have developed a program to work with several New York wineries and offer specials on the wines of New York. Restaurants that will allow you to try a glass of wine without buying the whole bottle allow consumers the flexibility to be daring -and to learn more about their particular preferences. Everyone has heard that the weather in Buffalo can be a bit on the cold side, but it is important to know that the people have very warm hearts. Our industry was delighted to work with the Hunter’s Hope Foundation for a special event to help raise public awareness of and funds for a very worthy cause– medical research into several dystrophy-like diseases that rob some children of the quality life that we wish for all children. We hope that in some small way through working at an event like this, we can help some wonderful people do their very important work.
This year's main event will be held November 30 at the Adam's Mark hotel. Keep an eye out for details and come out for the kids.
