Retailers throughout New York State are becoming increasingly supportive of the New York wine industry. We celebrate and welcome their participation in spreading the word about the exciting renaissance of the New York wine industry. Several stores in the Buffalo region are working with New York wineries to increase their inventory, and to host in-store tastings for consumers to feel comfortable in buying a wine they may not have had a chance to experience before.
As more stores put in "New York" sections, it will become easier to find the New York wines that you want to try. If you don't see one that you are looking for, ask if they can help you find a similar wine, or if there is a way for them to bring in some stock so that you can purchase it through them. And when you find a store that is especially cooperative - tell your friends. Everyone appreciates hearing good news!

Everyone has heard that the weather in Buffalo can be a bit on the cold side, but it is important to know that the people have very warm hearts. Our industry was delighted to work with the Hunter’s Hope Foundation for a special event to help raise public awareness of and funds for a very worthy cause– medical research into several dystrophy-like diseases that rob some children of the quality life that we wish for all children. We hope that in some small way through working at an event like this, we can help some wonderful people do their very important work.
This year's main event will be held November 30 at the Adam's Mark hotel. Keep an eye out for details and come out for the kids.
